This demos a Google Pub/Sub integration - a camera (Intel RealSense depth camera) is connected to a computer running the container (defined by docker-compose-intel.yml in this repository). The depth camera is pointing at a random location in my office (at some wires). I set this up to show some non-trivial use of Docker, C++, and a hardware device, compared to what would be achieved with, e.g., gPhoto2 and a DSLR. I also provide the depth data as a downloadable file. The demo takes about 10 seconds to complete, so please be patient!

Instructions for use.
  • Click the button below to trigger the remote photo to be taken and then uploaded to storage. Shortly thereafter (about 10 seconds or so), the result of the image will be presented to this screen.
